What is Farm Labs?

Farm Labs addresses a unique intersection of K-16 curriculum with a learn-by-doing approach, helping students understand the interconnected relationship that chemistry, biology, math, technology and engineering have with solving relevant issues in both local and global communities, such as food security, water use, environmental stewardship, and health.

The interdisciplinary nature of Farm Labs is at the core of its’ identity – our curricular applications are as diverse as the vegetables that we grow and the fabric of ethnicities that we serve in our communities and schools.

From elementary schools to top universities, county jails and hospitals, Farm Labs has demonstrated a unique potential to address not only a diverse demographic, but a diverse range of relevant social, environmental, and economic issues.

Our focus is to educate, inspire, train and empower people to be a part of the solution.
